Submission
 
Manuscripts should be submitted by one of the authors of the manuscript through the online Submission System (manu bar “Submitting Manuscript).
 
Submissions by anyone other than one of the authors will not be accepted.
 
If for some technical reason online submission is not successful, the author may contact the secretary team at connexion@mfu.ac.th
 
Manuscript Preparation
 
To expedite the review process, please format the manuscript in the following way:
Manuscript organization:
1. All manuscripts are expected to be prepared as an MS Word document with the complete text, references, tables and figures included. Any revised manuscripts prepared for publication should be sent as a single editable Word document. Paper size must be in an A4 with a page layout (top, bottom, left, right) of 2.5 cm. The font used for all text must be in Cordia New, 14 pt. both for Thai and English with a single line spacing. Exception for footnote where Cordia New 12 pt. is used.
2. Manuscripts should be written in English or Thai with a English abstract. Title, author(s), and affiliations should all be included on a title page as the first page of the manuscript file, followed by a 100-300 word abstract and 3-5 keywords. The order they follow is: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction.
3. For Thai manuscript, English for ttile, author(s), affiliations and abstract must be also provide.
 
Figure and table requirement:
4. All figures or photographs must be submitted as jpg or tif files with distinct characters and symbols at 500 dpi (dots per inch). Tables and equations should be in an editable not an image version. Tables must be edited with Word/Excel. Equations must be edited with Equation Editor. Figures, tables and equations should be numbered and cited as Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3, etc. in sequence.
 
References format:
5. The reference list should appear at the end of the manuscript and must be listed in alphabetical order. References cited in the text should use the ‘author-date’ style which is in following format: (Author’s Last Name, Year of Publication)
 
Example: Austen (1813) stated that…or It was observed that (Austen, 1813)
 
6. The reference list should appear at the end of the manuscript and must be listed in alphabetical order. Reference format use the “Harvard Styles”

References in other languages must be translated to English using following format:
Last name, Abbrev of First name. (Year) English manuscript title capitalised the first letter of the title (Thai manuscript title), Journal Name, vol. x, no. x, pp. xx-xx. (in Thai)

Review Process
Manuscripts not following to journal guidelines will be returned to authors without evaluation. Submitted manuscripts adhering to journal guidelines are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief or an Editor, who will assign them to reviewers. The review process is single blind. The decision will be sent to the corresponding author. All non-reviewed manuscripts are sent back within 10 days and the decision letters of manuscripts are sent within 10 weeks.
 
Publication Ethic Statement
MFU Connexion is committed to maintaining high standards through a rigorous peer-review together with strict ethical policies. Any infringements of professional ethical codes, such as plagiarism, fraudulent use of data, bogus claims of authorship will be rejected immediately. Authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if they have used the work and/or words of others, these should be appropriately cited or quoted. The submitted manuscript should not have been previously published in any form and must not be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere (except in the form of an abstract, a published lecture or academic thesis). Publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, including electronically without the written consent of the copyright-holder.
 
Copyright
MFU Connexion: Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences has an exclusive right to publish the article in any forms. Notwithstanding, the author retains the following:
1.    The author is the owner of the article;
2.    The author can use all or part of the article in other works of the author himself;
3.    The author can re-produce the article for personal use or for use in the author's agency, and this must be approved by MFU Connexion: Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences;
4.    The author has the right to make copies of all or part of the Work for the author’s use in classroom teaching; and,
5.    The author has the right to include the work (post and preprint version) in an institutional repository.
 
Open Access Policy
 
MFU Connexion is an open access peer reviewed journal which means all articles provide free access to readers and the public supports for a greater global exchange of knowledge.
